Case report
The Revista Colombiana de Ortopedia y Traumatología is a scientific publication of the Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología - SCCOT (Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma), which aims to publish (in English and Spanish) academic and scientific articles on orthopedics and trauma and other areas related to this surgical specialty.
At present, the following types of articles are published: Original Article, Review Article, Reflection Article, Case Reports, Letter to the Editor, and Editorial. Articles can be submitted to the journal through our OJS website 365 days a year. Articles submitted to the journal can be written in Spanish or English, but they must not be published elsewhere and must strictly comply with all the requirements established in the Guidelines for Authors.
The Revista Colombiana de Ortopedia y Traumatología is published quarterly (an annual volume with four issues published in January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December, respectively), and the articles are published individually in each issue as soon as they have completed the editorial process
Articles are published only in electronic/digital format (PDF, HTML). The DOI of the RCOT is x, the printed ISSN is 0120-8845, and the online ISSN is 2256-490X.
The abbreviation of the journal is Rev Col Or Tra. It should be used when citing the contents published in our journal.
